Year 2 had a wheel-y great time at our Sustrans Cycle & Scooter Skills session! Led by a Sustrans Active Travel Officer, the children practiced balancing, braking, and handling their bikes and scooters through fun activities and games. Book Week fun at Dovers Green! Our children have loved exploring Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. From handprint whale and penguin artwork to stormy sea scenes and lost luggage labels, we've brought the story to life in so many creative ways! World book day, the celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading is one of the highlights of our year! We based this year on the story 'Lost and Found' the children recreated scenes using mixed media and wrote letters to the boy during our writing.
