Welcome to Otters
During Creative Arts Week the children in Otters have been exploring the techniques of sculpture and collage. They made an umbrella structure using Mod Roc and collaged using different fabrics seen in the painting, ‘The Umbrellas’ by Renoir.
In the first week, the children in Otters have been given lots of opportunity to extend their learning during Discovery Time. The children have especially enjoyed developing their fine motor control using play dough and building pictures using pegs. In maths, we have been ordering numbers to ten and finding 1 more and 1 less.
