WELCOME TO MONARCH BUTTERFLIES

In Monarch Butterflies we have immersed ourselves in our topic – ‘Let’s get creative.’ From embracing our artistic skills and carbon printing buildings from the local environment to thinking up wonderful hairstyles in our hairdressers, we have let our creativity flow!

We have also enjoyed learning about Space. We discovered the names of all the planets and discussed what we would take with us on a trip to the moon!

Summer 1

In Monarch Butterflies we have been learning all about Castles! We designed and drew castles and even created these into our own 3D castles using junk modelling. We visited Leeds Castle and enjoyed trying to spot some of the things that we had learnt about during the half term, such as the battlements, the moat, the portcullis and the arrow loops (all things that we managed to spot). We were amazed whilst looking around the inside of the castle and had lots of fun playing in the playground too!
